What to expect at  a consultation?
During your appointment a comprehensive history will be attained. This will be followed by examination of the injured site and necessary assessments will be carried out. Once diagnosis is acquired a treatment plan will be decided and put into action. The visit will end with a rehabilitation plan. Please note you may have to remove clothing during examination and treatment.

What to expect post treatment ?
It is important to be aware that you may feel sore and tired. Drink plenty of water to flush out toxins and to rehydrate your muscles.

Do I need a referral letter from a G.P to get Physical Therapy treatment ?
No, you do not need a referral letter. On occasion you may be referred by your physical therapist to other health professionals.

Do I have to be  physically active in sports to get physical therapy ?
No, anybody that has an injury in sport, work related or caused from every day activity can receive treatment.

Is physical Therapy covered by medical health insurance ?
Physical Therapy is covered by VHI, LAYA and AVIVA. The amount covered depends on your healthcare plan.

How many treatments will I need ?
The amount of treatments required depends on the type of injury or condition you have. It also depends on how long the injury exists and how you respond to treatment. At your first consultation the physical therapist will discuss and outline  the anticipated number of treatments with you.

Will therapy interfere with my work ?
We offer appointments from 7 a.m to 10 p.m Monday through to Saturday. Emergency appointments can be made on Sundays if required.
